Case Study: Sub-meters at large industrial site

The operators of a large dairy processing plant wanted to implement a range of energy savings measures. They needed to optimise the return on investment from the projects by being able to identify, baseline, design, and accurately verify the outcomes. But they had limited data on how much energy was used and where, making these goals impossible to achieve.

Out Performers has now installed effective sub-metering across the factory, overcoming complex technical issues, and is collecting vital data that will ultimately save the company hundreds of thousands of dollars in operating costs.

Case Study: Fixing Power Factor Correction unit saves $18,000 in demand charges

A simple inspection of a Power Factor Correction unit at a large cold storage facility ended up saving our client over $18,000 in annual demand charges (kVA). Inspection and repairs cost only $3,600, giving a project payback of around two months.

Changes in the ESC rules explained simply

You have until September 30th to create ESCs from historical projects. Future projects will require an ACP such as Out Performers to be signed before the project commences.

In addition, some lighting projects will not qualify for ESCs anymore, while there will be the opportunity to claim more ESCs for certain non-lighting projects.
